In the middle of a big modern city, surrounded by concrete and glass, miraculously survives a small antique book shop. The owner and the small group of visitors, real friends, amazingly resemble some of the Hofmann characters. The action transfers from nowadays to the past and vise versa, diving in the parallel worlds of reality and magic. The film is a romantic comedy, inspired by the fairytale atmosphere of the Hofmann fantasies.
